A Bi-coastal wine making philosophy

At Jonathan Edwards Winery, we believe great wine isn't defined by geography—it's defined by quality. That's why we've embraced a bi-coastal approach to winemaking, combining the distinctive character of our Connecticut estate vineyards with exceptional fruit sourced from premier growing regions in California.

This philosophy allows us to showcase the best of both worlds. Our Connecticut vineyards produce vibrant, cool-climate wines with bright acidity and a true sense of place, while California fruit offers richness, depth, and bold varietal expression. Together, they create a diverse portfolio that celebrates the unique strengths of each region.

Rather than limiting ourselves to a single terroir, we've built our winemaking program around the pursuit of exceptional fruit, wherever it's grown. The result is a collection of wines that offers something for every palate—from crisp whites and elegant rosé to complex reds and reserve bottlings—all crafted with the same commitment to balance, quality, and craftsmanship.
